Bayport Financial Services Uganda commenced operations in 2005 as a collaboration between Bayport Management Limited and Mr. Charles Mbire who is one of Uganda’s foremost businessmen and promoters of investment.
Despite the challenges of a uniquely decentralised civil service payroll system and a historically competitive credit market, Bayport soon began to flourish. Today Bayport has operations spanning the country and enjoys a positive relationship with the many communities who have become our stakeholders.
Bayport is well positioned to take advantage of the economic growth being experienced in Uganda and looks forward to a bright future as Uganda’s leading retail credit provider.
