Etienne Coetzer: Chief Executive
Bayport Financial Services Tanzania
Etienne was recruited by Credit Direct in November 1999 during his term as Regional Operations Manager and a Joint Venture Partner for Nando’s Chickenland Cape. As the Regional Manager, he set up the direct marketing division from inception and assisted in the development of the sales and branch network structure. When Credit Direct merged with African Bank, Etienne took over the role as Mobile Sales Manger of Northern GP. On the 1st May 2002, Etienne took up the position of Operations Manager and later Chief Operating Officer for Bayport Financial Services Zambia. After 5 years, he returned to South Africa to assist in the strategic management of the group at a head office level. Etienne is currently managing various business development initiatives, as well as guiding the expansion Bayport’s Tanzania operations.
Michael Mocke: Chief Executive

Michael started his career at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE).In 1987, he joined the board of Human Resources Institute. Soon thereafter Michael founded Trans Co-Ordination, forming one of the largest passenger transport brokerages and managed corporate-transfer businesses. After selling his business he returned to The Stock Exchange, setting up a private client business managing the accounts and portfolios of high net worth individuals, before joining Rice Rinaldi Securities. In 1999, he joined the board of the listed company, Dectronic Ltd. In late 2004, Michael was recruited by a leading MLM organisation, owned by a listed SA company, as Managing Director. In 2006 Michael took the opportunity to work in Rwanda for the newly created 2nd Telecom network provider Terracom. Michael is a former invited columnist for the "THISDAY" newspaper writing in the business section each week as well as Moneyweb financial news website.
