Community Projects

Bayport Financial Services Zambia endeavours to play a key partnership role in community upliftment and development. Two primary areas of need within Zambia – is being education and primary health care. Given the vital role which education plays in the overall micro and macro-economic framework of Zambia, Bayport has placed extensive focus on capacity building and educational support programmes. Our commitment to building the education capacity is clearly demonstrated in our extensive comprehensive and on-going support of the Teachers Union at both national and local level.

We are also committed to providing support programmes to the education sector such as sponsorships and funding of sporting days and other such non-core curricular activities. A good example of this is the sponsorship of the Chipata Festival sponsorship. Further to commitment to education in Zambia is further demonstrated by our funding for the children who otherwise would be unable to complete their education due to lack of parental funding – in the last year we have sponsored the education costs 21 orphans across Zambia.

Bayport’s belief that a prosperous society must be both educated and healthy is further demonstrated in our support of health care within the country recent initiatives in this regard, at one which will bring substantial health benefits to thousands of Zambians are the founding of the construction of new wing at the hospital. We remain committed to supporting healthcare infrastructure and identifying similar projects and providing our support.
